Whale Shark Snorkel Safari

We pick you up at your hotel and take you to the departure point where you will be served some coffee or tee and cookies until everybody arrives. We´ll depart from Holbox in search of this giant beautiful creature (may take 1.5-2.5 hours). On our way we might be lucky to get a glimpse of some friendly dolphins, or turtles, Manta rays and birds. Once we find the Whale sharks, we always swim in groups of 2 persons with a guide and make several turns! After the swimming, we continue to a second spot, where we do some more snorkeling and you might see turtles and some colourful fish and corals. On our way back, we pass through the mangroves until we reach the huge sand bank called Río Santa Paula. This is our last stop and you´ll get some delicious and fresh Ceviche (traditional dish of fish) and some beverages. Last but not least, returning to Holbox, we pass by the habitat of the Flamingos at Punta Mosquito! All in all, this is a beautiful tour to connect with nature and to some of its unique and fascinating creatures! It is a once in a lifetime experience for everybody! Don´t forget your camera!
Total estimated time of the tour: 6 hoursPlease note, this tour is not suitable for very small kids, people with heart or back problems or any other physical limitations or pregnant women! It is recommended to bring some pills for sea sickness if you have trouble, the trip might be very bumpy! Please also bring enough sun protection and only use biodegradable sunscreen!
